The January recruitment period is typically a period of significant speculation and potential big-money moves. A number of high-profile stars find themselves connected to moves out of their current clubs. Here is a look at some of the major figures who might be changing clubs this month.

Antoine Semenyo

Latest developments indicate Manchester City have emerged as his services. M. Guéhi

This England centre-back has excel for Crystal Palace this season a previous move to Liverpool falling through. With his deal due to run out in the close season, January is the London club's last chance to obtain a fee for their skipper. This Portuguese playmaker might be set for a return to the Premier League following a spell in Saudi Arabia. Now just 28, while his agreement expiring in the summer of 2026, he is a potential bargain. Clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool are connected to the former Wolves man. Additionally, there are rumours from Spain that he is prepared to take a reduced salary for a move to Real Madrid.

Marc-André ter Stegen

The veteran Germany shot-stopper finds himself as the third option at Barça under new coach Flick. Having lost his place and had surgery, a winter departure looks increasingly likely. Aston Villa were once linked as a potential suitor, but that move currently seems unlikely. Instead, interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia are thought to be showing interest in the keeper.
